dot — Terms of Use

1. Service and scope

dot helps individuals and small teams organize their tasks into lists, share their lists, assign tasks, and manage their dates/reminders. These terms apply to the use of dot.

The service provider is Ventix Global Medya Yazılım Reklam ve Danışmanlık Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Ventix Global”) and dot is offered under the Ventix Studio brand. The contact address for the service is dot@ventixglobal.com and the corporate website is ventixglobal.com.

dot is available for users ages 13 and up. Minor users may need parental or legal representative permission in accordance with applicable law when using the service. The application is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

2. Account and access

Provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account. Availability of email/password, Google or Apple sign-in options may vary by device and provider.

You are responsible for the security of your account, login information, and device. Do not use another person's account without permission; Do not create an account with information that impersonates someone else. If you notice unauthorized access, change your password or your relevant login provider's access settings.

You must have the authority to enter into a valid contract in your own name. When necessary, action must be taken with the permission of the parent, guardian or authorized representative.

3. Content and shared lists

The rights to the content you add belong to you or the relevant rights owner. In order for the Service to operate, you grant dot the necessary and limited authority to store, sync, display and share such content with the list members you select.

Contents, task assignments and related account information in shared lists can be seen by authorized members. Changes made by team members can be synced to other users. Use sharing and assignment powers carefully.

Do not include personal, confidential or third-party information that you are not authorized to share. You are responsible for the accuracy and sharing rights of your content.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for unlawful content, threats, harassment, fraud, spam, unauthorized access, malware or intellectual property infringement. Do not attempt to access other users' data without permission or disrupt the security/operation of the service.

Do not use invitation codes and sharing features for unsolicited mass communications. Transactions that block or abuse the service may be reviewed and access may be limited to the extent necessary.

5. Sync, notifications and widgets

Tasks you add or change while offline will attempt to sync when connected. Syncing may be delayed or failed due to network connectivity, device settings, and conflicting changes. Check the up-to-dateness of important information in the app.

Notifications and reminders depend on device permission, operating system power saving/background rules, and service providers. There is no absolute assurance that they will be delivered at a particular time.

Home screen widgets show the app's last synced local data. Summaries may be delayed following changes made from other devices or date changes. dot should not be used for emergency notification or critical security monitoring purposes alone.

6. Privacy and permissions

The processing of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Accepting these terms does not mean that you have given your express consent to every processing activity described in the Privacy Policy.

You can manage device preferences such as notification permissions from operating system settings. When adding others' data to shared lists, respect the rights of those concerned.

7. Fees and third-party services

This app version has no in-app purchases or subscription flows. If a paid option is offered in the future, its price, coverage and relevant terms will be disclosed prior to purchase; automatic charging does not arise from this text.

Google, Apple, internet connection and store services are subject to their own terms and policies. Mobile data or connection charges may be applied by your service provider.

8. Logout, account deletion and termination of access

Profile → Sign out logs out. Profile → Delete account sends an account deletion request to the server. Uninstalling the app alone will not delete the account from the server. Scope of account deletion and retention details are described in the Privacy Policy.

Protect the information you need and consider the impact of shared lists on other members before requesting deletion. Once access ends, you may not be able to access account content again.

In cases of security, legal obligation or serious breach of these conditions, access may be limited as necessary and proportionate. If there is no compelling obstacle, the reason and applicable objection method are explained.

9. Availability and liability

The service is intended to remain operational and secure; There may be maintenance, technical malfunctions or third-party service interruptions. Uninterrupted operation on every device, no data loss or timely delivery of every notification cannot be guaranteed.

These terms do not limit your inalienable rights arising from consumer law or personal data protection legislation; It does not eliminate the service provider's liabilities that it cannot legally exclude.

10. Changes and communication

The version of the terms and the update date are indicated on the page. Significant changes are announced before they take effect; This is also requested in cases where a new approval is required. Any fees or liabilities not subsequently disclosed for prior transactions will not be applied retroactively.
